Filipino stand-up comedy favourite Alex Calleja recently brought his signature brand of humour to Australia, successfully entertaining Filipino audiences in Melbourne and Sydney as part of his Good Times sa Australia tour.

The Australian leg featured two shows: Melbourne on August 29, 2026, at Bunjil Place Theatre, followed by Sydney on August 30, 2026, at Darling Quarter Theatre. Calleja was joined by fellow members of The Comedy Crew, including Israel Buenaobra, Grease Junio, Dawit Tabonares and Marlon Cadag.

The success of the shows was recognized by The Philippine Times AU, which featured Calleja in its September 2026 issue with the headline “Alex Calleja’s comedy magic in Melbourne, Sydney.” The feature highlighted his performances and the strong reception from Filipino audiences in both cities.
